The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) - "the world's largest educational and scientific computing society", is a global organization that promotes the study of Computing Sciences. They have chapters that represent them at most Universities nationwide.

The Association for Computing Machinery Rowan Chapter, or just 'Rowan ACM' for short, is an offical chapter of the ACM.

Here at Rowan we serve as the organized computer science student community. Our purpose is to provide our members, made up from students inside and outside the Computer Science Department, an opportunity to explore computer science in an informal outside-the-classroom environment.

Each week we have either a guest speaker presentation or a group workshop/event! Speakers are often faculty from the Computer Science Department, student leaders in the club, or people working in industry.

In addition to our weekly events, we host a variety of specialized interest groups called committees. These committees often host entry level group projects and discussions to help interested students learn more about their committee subject.

Please join us on all our socials (below) to keep up to date with our general meetings, committee groups, as well as competitions and field trips.
